David and Angela Carleton

David Carleton - Owner

After retiring from a career in law enforcement I trained and handled explosive detection dogs for the US State department. While at home on vacation I was at a local gym working out and saw a flyer for a duathlon. I went home and told my wife about it and she proceeded to inform me I didn’t own a bike. The rest is history. I have worked for several Trek retailers and have known that I wanted my own shop. I’ve taken what I’ve learned from those shop owners and based my philosophy on that. “We are as passionate about bicycles as you are.”

Angela Carleton - Co-Owner

Angela is an events planner for a major hospital in the area. Her passion for cycling shows as a board member for the Winston Salem Cycling Classic. She heads up the host housing logistics with international riders. She is a former crit racer who threatens to get back into it as she rides with the international racers when they are in town. Whether a quick out and back after work or training on Zwift, chasing down riders, she just loves to ride. Some Saturdays it’s a toss up whether to ride the bike or get the John Deere out and get stuff done around the house. Angela is great with newer female riders helping them determine what bike and gear will work best for them.
